Do you feel overwhelmed every January by the endless

"New Year, New You" messages?

I hear you, sis. As soon as January 1st arrives, everyone seems eager to start fresh and dive into the new year. But not me. Winter is a sacred season, deserving of respect. It's a time for introspection, quiet reflection, and healing. The astrological new year truly begins with Aries (March 21st - April 20th), as it should, when spring ushers in renewal.

Embracing Winter's Pause: A Journey from Go-Go-Go to Slow Flow

Hi! I'm Janna Fackrell, founder & healer at Sacred Hearts. For years, I was trapped in a whirlwind of activity, driven by a culture that glorified busyness. The constant rush of deadlines and the pressure to do more left me feeling drained and out of balance. Winter's quietude, however, offered a much-needed respite. It was a time to slow down, retreat inward, and reconnect with my true self.

As I embraced the season's rhythm, I began to honor my inner feminine energy, a gentle and nurturing force that had been overshadowed by my relentless drive. By prioritizing self-care, meditation, and creative pursuits, I rediscovered a sense of peace and balance. This newfound appreciation for slowing down has extended beyond the winter months, becoming an integral part of my everyday life.

I've learned to set boundaries, prioritize rest, and savor life's simple pleasures. If you, too, have been caught in the relentless cycle of busyness, I encourage you to embrace the power of slowing down. It's not just a winter ritual; it's a lifelong practice that can transform your life.
